Welcome To My Blog :))

Hiiii, and welcome to my blog!!

1. A little introduction about me:

My name is Nyssa, and I am currently 19 years old starting my first year at the University of Hertfordshire, studying Digital Media Design.

Some interesting facts about me, are:

That I have been doing archery for almost ten years now, starting when I was only nine years old, and I still very much enjoy the sport, even though it is quite uncommon.

I have a dog at home. Her name is Rin (It's Japanese), she is 5 years old, her birthday is valentine's day (February 14th), and she is a Cavachon (Half Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and half Bichon Frisé).

I enjoy watching YouTube/television, listening to music, and reading in my spare time. I enjoy a very varied range of music genres with a majority being foreign languages, my favourites being a German band named Tokio Hotel, and a range of Korean pop (Kpop) groups, such as NCT and Stray Kids. And my favourite authors are David Levithan and Alice Oseman, who writes the Heartstopper series (which has now become a Netflix adapted series), as well as some other books.

2. What do I find interesting in 'Digital Media Design'?:

I personally find a lot of subjects interesting within the course of Digital Media Design. Having studied very similar courses since my GCSE's, I have already covered a range of subjects such as easy character design creations, Photoshop techniques, and basic website designs using quite basic code. I have thoroughly enjoyed learning these skills in past years, so I am very excited to learn more to do with app and website design, as well as being able to upgrade my knowledge on topics that i have covered previously.

3. What do I hope to achieve over the next 3 years studying this course?:

Over the next three years, whilst studying this course, I hope to really increase my skill set and learn how to create a more diverse range of media forms, such as game and app design, as I find these subjects very interesting.

Below is my first use of Photomosh, to record a gif image.
